2 C brown sugar
2 C Flour
1 stick Butter or hard oleo
Mix as pie crust
Set aside 1 C for topping
Add 1 C butter milk. (I keep powdered buttermilk on hand for this.)
1 tsp baking soda.
1 egg
Pour into a 9" inch sq. glass pan
Sprinkle on the cup you set aside.
Sprinkle w/ cinnamon
Bake 30-35 minutes at 375
This is the tricky part. Use a tooth pick to check for doneness at the center. It's easy not to cook it long enough.
1 angle food cake
3 eggs
12 oz chocolate chips
1 pt whip cream
sugar to taste (4 T)
Cut or crumble cake
Melt chocolate
Beat yokes and fold in.
Fold in beaten whites
Fold in whipped cream.
Place layers of cake, then chocolate mixture, end w/ chocolate
Refrigerate at least 2 hours.
1 white Cake Mix
1 pkg strawberry jello
1 T flour
1 C Crisco Oil
1/2 C water
3/4 C strawberries
1 C nuts (optional)
4 eggs
Mix first four well.
Add water, small amount at a time.
Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each.
Add berries & nuts- mix ell.
Place in a greased & floured 9x11 pan
Bake 40 min at 350.
Icing
1/4 C. Berries
1/2 stick melted butter or oleo
powdered sugar to make spreadable.
Little lemon juice
spread on cake and continue baking 5 minuet. Makes a bubbly glaze
Spread 1 med can crushed pineapple in 9/11 Greased Pan
Spread can cheery pie filling (large size if available)
Top w/ dry cake mix
pour 1/4 C milted butter
Bake 50 minutes at 350
No Bake Cookies- fun, fast, and great w/ milk!!!

5 T cocoa
1/2 c milk
1 stick oleo
pinch salt
boil real hard.
Add 1/2 C peanut butter
3 C quick oats.
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 c chopped nuts or coconut
Mix fast and drop on wax paper.
3 C sugar
3 T white Karo
pinch salt
1 1/2 C milk
cook to soft ball (236-255)
Remove from heat, add 3/4 C p-nut butter
cool t at least 110
Add 1 tsp vanilla and beat until it looses sheen.
Pour into a buttered dish or on wax paper
